About

Aram Parunak

Aram Parunak spent 18 years coaching college basketball at the NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, USCAA, and prep school levels, with stops including UNC Asheville, Presbyterian, Coker, the Apprentice School, Combine Academy, and Johnson & Wales.

At Johnson & Wales, his team won a USCAA national championship and reached the USCAA Final Four. At the Apprentice School, he served as associate head coach, offensive coordinator, and interim head coach. Over his tenure, the program finished in the national top ten four times and produced ten USCAA All-Americans. He recruited internationally and has helped international players make the transition to American college basketball.

In 2019 he left college coaching to build Hoops College in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he trains players from age four through professionals and breaks down film daily.

He evaluates players the way college staffs do, because that's where he learned to.

The Film Room at Hoops College is led by Aram Parunak. It is an evaluation, not a recruiting or placement service — it does not contact college coaches, promote the player, or make any promise of placement.
